Ad* We are officially OBSESSED with Hockley Riverside Cottage, where we got to witness the natural phenomenon called the Ontario Salmon Run! This cottage backs onto the Nottawasaga River, where salmon are currently swimming upstream to spawn. We saw hundreds of Chinook and Coho salmon in the river during our stay… They were skimming over rocks, leaping out of the water, and circling the calm areas before pushing onwards. It’s truly a miracle of nature and we had front row seats!
