Georgia’s offense, so often defined by pace and points, looked very different Tuesday night in Columbia. Despite being held to a season-low 74 points, No. 21 Georgia found enough late-game composure to secure a 74-72 win. Shots were hard to come by, possessions stretched longer, and the Bulldogs were forced into a half-court battle with Missouri.
The Bulldogs led 29-26 at halftime after converting just 11 of 31 shots from the field (35.5%). Georgia never found a consistent shooting rhythm and finished the game at 36.9% from the floor, but stayed within control by limiting mistakes and answering Missouri’s runs.
