The Calgary Stampeders have signed defensive end Clarence Hicks to a three-year contract extension through the 2028 CFL season.
He was scheduled to became a CFL free agent in February and worked out for the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, December 29.
The 27-year-old pass rusher suited up for 18 regular-season games with the Stamps in 2025. He recorded 28 defensive tackles, 12 sacks, which ranked third-most in the CFL, and forced two fumbles on his way to being named a West Division all-star. For his efforts, Hicks earned the Stampeders nomination for Most Outstanding Defensive Player.
