It’s a good day. The sun is shining. A new project is on the horizon. I’ll be painting this week, which I love! There’s something I really enjoy about the time I spend alone in out rentals preparing them for new tenants. I scrub, paint, weed, repair — whatever needs doing. And I know the whole time the space is about to surround someone with that great feeling of ‘home.’ Our new project involves some investors and an opportunity to prepay. I have some renters right now who are also liking that option or pre-pay by the week. We’ll see how it goes. Springtime feels like the right time to try new things. It’s a one class day, with afternoon meetings and evening events, so I snuck home mid-day to check on my sick kiddo. This is a perk of academia and self-employment. I work around my ‘must do’s’ and can still make sure my kiddo isn’t alone all day. This week I’m painting and laying flooring and working on financing. What are you up to this week?
