From juggling school, work and a growing passion for art to finding his place at USC Upstate, sophomore and Chancellor Ambassador Dorrell Howard says LaunchGVL “gave me hope” when he needed it most. The high school internship program helped build his confidence, connect him with mentors and ultimately led him to a full ride through the Spartan Promise Scholars program. Now, Howard is paying it forward by reminding students that sometimes all it takes is someone in your corner.
