This is the first time ever a Korean work — and Korean choreographers — have taken home a Bessie Award. “One Dance” is a modern reinterpretation of the ritual dance from Jongmyo Jeryeak, a Korean National Intangible Cultural Heritage and a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
