The Oregon Zoo has a new polar bear. The three-year old, named Kallik, arrived in Portland from St. Louis earlier this week. Kallik is still growing and keepers expect him to add at least 300 or 400 pounds to his current weight of 730 pounds. Kallik is settling in well, said Amy Hash, the zoo’s marine life area supervisor.
