My phone and power bank were dead, I was lost, wandering the streets and end up in a cool vinyl store/vintage shop/cannabis cafe/bar to charge my phone. I end up meeting and hanging out with the couple that own the bar. Turns out they are in a (very cool) band. Plot twist 1. We realized that I had reached out to them years ago to play a Sofar in Taipei when we first started up. Plot twist 2. Another guy sitting in the corner with his partner having a beer end up joining us. Turns out he’s also a musician from London, and has played Sofar shows all over the UK. He was part of the Sofar Summit a few years ago. Naturally we spent all night in that place swapping stories and songs.
