MONARCHS EDGE LIONS: The jserra.girlssoccer team and the Mater Dei Monarchs engaged in a close Trinity League battle on Thursday at JSerra Catholic High School, with the Monarchs rallying past the Lions for a 2-1 victory. JSerra is now 5-3-2 overall and 0-2-1 in league action. After a scoreless first half, sophomore Kaylee Hanna put the Lions in front 1-0 early in the second half with her team-leading 10th goal of the season.
