Austin Prep celebrated an all school Mass for Augustinian Vocations today with Fr. Jeremy Hiers, O.S.A., Director of Justice & Peace and Director of Vocations for the Province of St. Thomas of Villanova. “We all have a vocation, and even though they are very different and varied, we all are ‘In Illo uno unum’ — in Jesus, we are all one,“ Fr. Jeremy noted in his homily, referencing Pope Leo XIV’s episcopal motto. “Think about the amazing things that can happen as each and every person here discerns how God is calling them to share their gifts, to spread their good news, and to bring hope where there is despair.” The Mass also served as the kick-off event for Catholic Schools Week, which is celebrated across our nation from January 25-31. Catholic Schools Week gives us the opportunity to pause to give thanks for the extraordinary gift of Catholic education and to reflect on its vital role in the life of the Church, our nation, and the world. #CSW2026 jeremyhosa augustinians.stov csobo...
