The United States is rapidly building up military forces across the Middle East, deploying fighter jets, warships, air-defense systems, and thousands of personnel amid rising tensions with Iran. Dozens of F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets have moved into regional bases, while a U.S. aircraft carrier strike group is heading toward the Arabian Sea and eastern Mediterranean. Heavy transport aircraft have also reportedly delivered equipment, weapons to forward operating bases. Iran will treat any attack "as an all-out war against us," a senior Iranian official has said.
