The worst thing you can do for your life is not try.
Somewhere around middle school, trying hard became uncool.
Caring too much got you labeled a “try-hard.”
So it made more sense to do less: less effort, less ambition, less risk, just to fit in.
And that mindset sticks.
People grow up playing it safe.
They don’t go all-in on things they care about because they’re afraid of failing or worse, afraid of being judged.
But here’s the truth:
You don’t get good at anything without effort.
You don’t build confidence by avoiding failure.
And you don’t find fulfillment by staying comfortable.
Every person who’s great at something was once bad at it.
The difference is they kept showing up anyway.
They kept trying when it was uncomfortable, when progress was slow, and when people were watching.
The people who continue to try new things and refuse to be denied by judgment, doubt, or setbacks are the people who go the furthest in life.
Regret doesn’t come from failing.
It comes from never try...
