Relive Grinchmas 2000 at Universal Studios Hollywood, a full-scale holiday takeover inspired by Dr Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas and timed with the release of the Jim Carrey film. During this limited-time seasonal event, the park transformed into Whoville, immersing guests in the sights, sounds, and spirit of the Grinch’s world. Grinchmas featured elaborate Whovillian decorations throughout the park, live street entertainment with singing and juggling Whos, and the lively Whoville Whobilation stage show. Guests could explore The Grinch’s Cave Maze, a walk-through attraction recreated from the movie’s production designs, complete with recognizable props. One of the event’s signature experiences was Mount Crumpit Snow Plummet, a 100-foot sledding hill made with real snow, offering Southern California guests a rare chance to sled in the middle of the holiday season.
