Universal Studios Hollywood will host “Grinchmas,” a special Wholiday celebration inspired by Dr. Seuss’ beloved holiday classic, beginning November 17, 1999, and running through January 1, 2000. The event coincides with the debut of Imagine Entertainment’s highly anticipated Universal Pictures film Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jim Carrey. A full-scale celebration of all things Whovian, Grinchmas brings the whimsical world of Who-ville off the screen and into the park, featuring the Grinch himself and the delightfully quirky residents of Dr. Seuss’ universe. Upon entering the park, guests are greeted by elaborate, zany Whovian holiday decorations. A fanciful Whovian procession winds through the park several times daily, while Seussian street performers balance towering stacks of teetering holiday gifts.
