Day 6 shines the light on Matt Montena #27 our goalie between the pipes! Matt is from West Milford and has been playing hockey for 10 years, with experience at the Nutley Clifton Hockey Club, Montclair Blues, and NJ Bandits before high school. His favorite high school memory is one for the history books: beating Lakeland in the first round of states and officially recording his 1,000th career high school save 🥅💯 a huge milestone for any goalie. After graduation, Matt is deciding between Roger Williams University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Stonehill College, and the University of New England, where he plans to attend a four-year college majoring in Education. He also plans to continue playing ice hockey while in college. Nothing but respect for the grind, Matt! 👏
