Ariana Grande is opening up about a deeply personal moment from the very start of her music career. 🤍 On The Hollywood Reporter’s 'Awards Chatter' podcast, Ariana shared a rare memory of late ex Mac Miller and how he encouraged her to step fully into herself as she transitioned from Nickelodeon to music. “I’ve never talked about this, but actually Malcolm, whom you might know as Mac, encouraged me to be myself,” she said, explaining that he urged her to “embrace my brown hair,” leave the TV character Cat Valentine behind, and make the kind of R&B-leaning pop she truly loved. “It was okay to shed that character… and do the brave thing,” Ariana added, calling his influence something she’s so very grateful for. She also shared that his support played a role in asking him to feature on 'Yours Truly’s lead single, “The Way,” saying she felt she “had him to thank for finding my sound.” What do you think about Ariana's touching revelation about Mac? 🕊️💔 (📷: Getty/Steve Granitz, Get...
