Our Ski Team Advisor and Lasallian Brother at Saint Mary’s University Br. John Grover completed his 40th American Birkebeiner ski race on Saturday! He is one of the 35 skiers recognized for completing the most American Birkebeiner races ever. This “Spirit of 35” group honors and remembers the first 35 skiers who skied that first Birkie race 45 years ago. Now there are about 10,000 skiers each year who participate in Birkie week events. Congratulations Br. John, that is a huge accomplishment, and our ski team is very proud of you!
