Did you know that 100 elephants are roaming @cityofbevhills? They're crafted from lantana camara (an invasive weed that pushes 🐘 out of their native habitat into human communities) by 200 indigenous artisans from the Bettakurumba, Paniya, Kattunayakan, and Soliga communities of India’s Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve in order to raise $ to power human-wildlife coexistence projects & protect migratory animals. The 🐘🐘🐘 roam Beverly Gardens Park till Aug 1st: thegreatelephantmigration.org
