In January 1982, Bill Koch won America’s first cross-country skiing World Cup medal in Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. He also won America’s first Olympic medal in the sport. . Fast forward to January 2020. Bill’s son Will Koch just won one of America’s first two Youth Olympic cross-country ski medals (along with @kendurr ) in Vallée de Joux, Switzerland. .
