March 17, 2020 has been officially proclaimed Jessie Diggins Day in the state of Minnesota by Governor Tim Walz!! We are so proud of Jessie for being such a great ambassador for our state and the sport of Nordic Skiing. She continually speaks out about important issues, such as the importance of climate change activism, her struggles with disordered eating, her strong belief that all girls be able to participate in sports, and her firm stance on anti-doping. . Jessie was instrumental in bringing a World Cup ski race to Minnesota, and we wish more than anything that we could be watching her race today. However, we ask you all to still celebrate this amazing day and incredible woman by getting outside at some point today (while practicing safe social distancing 😉)! .
