There were 29 extremely talented athletes who qualified to represent the United States in the MN World Cup. Among the 15 women, three of them were from Minnesota: Jessie Diggins, Alayna Sonnesyn, and Caitlin Gregg. These three each have impressive ski resumes, but even more impressive fighting spirits! These women were each instrumental in helping promote the event in their home state, and after hearing the news of the cancellation, still wanted to celebrate what had been accomplished by racing each other in an unofficial hot lap of the open World Cup course on their own time on Sunday.
