🪑 Here’s a tip for your chair pose, or #utkatasana, which translates to #fiercepose. The instructions do not suggest leaning the body forward when settling into the pose. Instead, intending to bring your thighs parallel to the floor is for those who are very limber and flexible. Achieving this position will take time and intentional focus in your practice. Avoid leaning forward to get your hips into the chair, as this will not keep your spine straight or your torso lifted. Remember, the back of the chair is straight; it doesn’t resemble a cobra's curved spine.
