Muhammad at our #SupportHER game! 🏀✨ Medinah Muhammad is a lifelong resident of Essex County and an alumna of Montclair State University. She earned her master’s degree Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University–Newark. Medinah has held senior legislative positions within New Jersey state government, contributing to policy initiatives focused on economic equity, criminal justice reform, housing, and gun safety. She is the youngest individual appointed to the East Orange Board of Education and has served as a volunteer mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex County since 2015.
