We’re excited to welcome Dan Riedel as our HoneyBaked 12U Head Coach for the 2026-27 season. Dan grew up in Rochester Hills and built and outstanding hockey career, earning NAHL Rookie of the Year, winning the USHL Scoring Title, playing at Ferris State, and competing professionally for five years. As a coach, Dan spent over a decade leading teams and developing players at a high level, posting a 324-146-34 head coaching record, making three national tournament appearances, and helping athletes earn opportunities across the USHL, OHL, NCAA, USNTDP and even the NHL. “I coached and scouted with Dan in the USHL,” said Phil Osaer, HB GM. “He’s diligent and great at identifying players and developing their complete game.
