There are 3 types of ball in golf, but which is best for you? 🏌️‍♂️ First is the distance ball. This ball has one job — go long. They’re normally a two-piece design with a hard shell to keep spin low off the driver, so your tee shots fly straighter and squeeze out a bit more distance. The bonus? They’re also the cheapest balls you can buy which is perfect if you’re still donating a few to the trees every round. The downside is around the greens — they spin less because the harder cover doesn’t grip the clubface as well. Next is the soft ball. These are also usually two-piece, but with a softer cover. That means they compress more easily, especially if you don’t swing it like Bryson. They still go plenty far, but they spin more around the greens than a pure distance ball. For most weekend golfers?
