🚨HUMAN TRAFFICKING OF A MINOR ARREST In December 2025, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit investigated a missing juvenile from Ventura County. Detectives uncovered evidence the youth was being sex trafficked in Los Angeles. Through a coordinated effort across multiple VCSO units, the juvenile was safely located and reunited with their family in early January. The investigation identified Bryan Jessie Garcia (23, Los Angeles) as the trafficker. Garcia used social media to groom and manipulate the minor, ultimately coercing them to leave home and be exploited near the Figueroa Street corridor. On January 23, 2026, Garcia was arrested following a joint operation with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office. Bail was set at $1,000,000 on charges including Human Trafficking of a Minor.
