🎥 + 💭: matthewunderwater Lembeh Strait, Indonesia is home to all the critters! I’d never seen a juvenile dragonet fish before, so I was pretty excited when I stumbled upon this one. A tiny fish just crawling along the sand looking for food. This guy was tiny, maybe 5 cm long. Filming macro is such a different game. The two toughest parts are holding good stability (hard at this scale) and keeping the subject in focus, which gets tricky when it’s walking, swimming, or crawling. The bright yellow patterns are stunning. In the edit, slowing the video down and studying its movements adds an entirely new dimension. I now know why they call Lembeh the macro capital of the world! #MarineMonday #UnderwaterMacro #OceanCritters
