🔍 José Capriles, a pennstate associate professor of anthropology, was one of the researchers who rediscovered a lost society, known as Tiwanaku, through ancient temple ruins in the Andes. The temple's location in modern-day Bolivia, along the shores of Lake Titicaca, showed signs of early Andean civilization and a precursor of the Inca Empire.
