ad I have wanted to create these DIY clay baubles for such a long time 🎄🌹 I love the idea of cut flowers not only lasting for this Christmas but their imprint being a part of next year and beyond ❤️ I don’t know why I didn’t try this sooner. Flowers can be captured so beautifully when pressed into clay and it’s almost unique every single time! I used watercolour paints to capture the beautiful range of colours found in Red Roses, Blue Hydrangeas, Thistles and Ranunculus. I found the best that pressed were the Hydrangea and Gypsophila! They left such a beautiful strong imprint on the clay. I hope this has inspired you to gift the joy of flowers this Christmas, I had so much fun creating this and my Nan’s face says it all really!
