I soooo wanted statement rattan pendants over my courtyard dining table… but not for the £189.99 each price tag.. 🙃 So I headed to B&Q, grabbed some £16 hanging baskets and with a little creativity I could see these being my dream pendants. I modified the hanging baskets by removing the chain and liner and created an opening for the light fitting/bulb. (super easy... I made all three in under an hour) While I was at B&Q, i picked up some guttering and made a table trough planter. Don’t get me wrong.. it’s not the most gorgeous trough planter In the world but planted up it is so effective... 🌱 🌼 Let’s tally this up, the pendants I liked were £189.99 each x3 = £569.97, the trough planter I liked was £197.41 so a total of £767.38. I created the look for £92 with the plants included (less than half the cost of one of those pendants)!!! What do ya think? 🥰 Champagne lifestyle on a Prosecco budget, should I make this a series?
