Ive had soooooo many questions about the DIY hot air balloons inspired by by_spode baubles, so thought id go into a little more detail! 💙 🎈 I wanted this Christmas tablescape to feel extra magical so I created giant hot air balloons floating over a beautiful Blue Italian set table 😍 Here is a step by step on how I made the hot air balloons: Start by priming a beach ball with either a white spray paint or acrylic white primer, this will allow the paint to flex a little! Apply a design by painting patterns or what I did to make things easier peal and stick! Super-glue some string from the top of the ball following the seems, attach and tie off the rope to a little basket and hang from the ceiling with a little hook… It really is that simple! 🥳 I am always so inspired by by_spode classic and timeless designs and didn’t know I could LOVE them anymore until I saw the little ceramic teapot napkin rings, they are on sooooo my Christmas gifting list this year!🎁...
