ad DIY Library Part 3! We’ve FINALLY created the secret door and added statement panelling! I went for these gorgeous pre-primed reeded panels from naturewall – crafted in Yorkshire by the good people of the North. They’re super easy to cut to size and the fact they come pre-primed made painting them an absolute breeze. We built bookcases around a doorway, added shelf fronts and faux books to disguise the door, and painted it all in Beverley by F&B for that timeless library feel. I can’t believe we DIY’d this entire space — it’s been such a labour of love to create, but so worth it. It’s becoming our library of dreams. Still hunting for books & curiosities to give it that Jurassic Park natural history vibe!
