How did we buy a derelict chapel? 💒 We actually stumbled across this beautiful old building completely overgrown with ivy and vegetation. It was last used as a chapel in the 70’s so really was in a poor state, despite how run down it was we could really see it had amazing bones to work with. It’s open plan layout provided the perfect canvas to design a home within. We were respectful, restoring the original floor and roof whilst incorporating new classical additions. It sometimes makes me so sad seeing how many of these new builds are flying up all over the place whilst beautiful old buildings are left behind to decay.
