Celebrating Mother’s Day in my Nana’s enchanted woodland 🌳🌸🌼🌻🌹🌷 a fallen tree provided the perfect benched seating either side of a table to enjoy tea and cake! Three generations of incredible mothers around this table - my nan, my mum and my sister. It’s the first year we’ve actually all been together to celebrate Mother’s Day and the wonderful women in my life - it’s not always easy. My Nan first moved to Norfolk from the Midlands 20 years ago, where we then followed 10 years later and finally, my sister joined us here 5 years ago. Norfolk really is our happy place! Although I’d like to pretend I was strong enough to push a tree over… it was already partially rotten with a hollowed-out centre making it the perfect planter for a mixture of potted and cut flowers!
