ad Please don’t judge me on the state of how overgrown and run down my front door is 😅 We bought this chapel derelict and are slowly turning it into our home ! After getting the building structurally sound and watertight I could now turn my attention to this beautiful 110 year old door 🥹 I fell In love with this ‘Midnight Blue’ Weatherproof paint by ronseal.uk (does exactly what it says on the tin)! and knew this rich colour would not only look fabulous but would also guaranteed the protection of the wood for 10 years ! I won’t lie after sanding it all back and realising just how dilapidated the door was made slightly nervous but after treating it with a bit of ronseal.uk filler and One Coat Wood Primer & Undercoat it was ready for its new lease of life ! I was also so set on creating a focal point in the arch but to have iron detailing made would have been a fortune !! Which is why when I saw a half moon rubber door mat a light bulb moment happened 😅😂 It honestly looks so high ...
