ad Look who popped by for a little visit 🦌... I think she could smell pumpkin!
Autumn is my second favourite season after summer; I love all the burnt orange colours that come out to play. 🍁 I also love the use of pumpkins this time of year and decided to team up with howflowersdothat to do something a little different and create ‘pumpkin flower frogs’ (flower frog meaning: a device used by florists to hold flowers in place) - I feel pumpkin and frog in the same sentence is very suited as we approach Halloween 🎃 🐸 👻 💀
They were so easy to make, I cut the bottom out of a pumpkin and drilled holes in the top to hold a variety of flowers in place! The flowers I used: ‘Celosia’ the one which looked like a green brain (obvious choice) for a ghoulish arrangement. I also used ‘Achillea’ which reminded me of ‘Cow Parsley’. I liked how delicate this flower was and really softened the base of the arrangement! Finally for some height and drama I used the punchy blue ‘Campanula’!
I hop...
