I am not posting this for sympathy, I wasn’t going to post this at all but it’s the kind of video I would have wanted to see growing up. I’ve been quiet on here recently, I’ve lost a bit of my sparkle and it’s been hard to focus on anything other than my health. It’s been weeks and weeks of struggling to do daily activities, waking up most mornings wondering ‘can I breathe normally yet’. With cystic fibrosis my lungs don’t function as they should, it’s easier for common colds and viruses to turn into something much nastier. I tried to grin and bare it alone but eventually accepted i needed IV medication which always hits me hard mentally and physically. Thank goodness I’ve got Alex, he became a nurse over night (no he didn’t put on an outfit 😉)! He has looked after me for weeks; preparing, mixing and injecting antibiotics.
