I think PRIDE is about embracing everything YOU are in life and about embracing other peoples walks of life to. Growing up I spent a lot of time worried about people ‘picking up’ on my quirks and not accepting them. Id worry if I didn’t come across ‘manly’ enough or if I didn’t like certain sports people might think I’m odd or dare I say GAAAAAYYY. I used to cringe at the word because i thought it was wrong. BUT exposure to a community of flourishing people from all walks of life gave me the confidence to own something about myself and learn something about someone else.
