UPDATE: Florida State has offered Class of 2027 four-star quarterback Israel Abrams from Arlington Heights, Illinois. Abrams is considered the second-best quarterback prospect in the 2027 247Sports recruiting rankings. This is a smart offer because the Seminoles have to ensure that they secure a signal-caller this cycle. The staff is looking at options such as four-star Jayce Johnson (Texas A&M commit), four-star Wonderful “Champ” Monds IV, three-star Davin Davidson, three-star Logan Flaherty (UCF commit), and three-star Derrick Baker. Even though the Seminoles are recruiting heavily for Monds IV, the arch-rival Florida Gators are gaining traction in the battle and high school recruitments can be a bit unpredictable with the Gators have the “new car smell” with head coach Jon Sumrall. Adding an offer to Abrams can allow the coaching staff can find a way to get him to campus for a visit. 🍢 #GoNoles #Tribe27 #fsurecruiting #fsufootball #qbrecruiting
