This semester, we’re continuing our #WhyMoody series by highlighting the academic advisors and career coaches dedicated to student success at #TEXASMoody. Schedule an appointment with them today to start planning for your future! Our first feature is academic advisor Doug Haake. Doug has been part of the Moody community for 10 years. He has worked as an advisor at several universities, but his top goal was to work at utaustintx and at a top-ranked communication college. His favorite part of working at Moody is seeing how dedicated our faculty and staff are to student success. He said seeing students grow from orientation to graduation is one of the most rewarding parts of the job. His advice to students is not to define success by comparing themselves with their peers. “There are many pathways to success. Also, it’s OK to ask for help. There are so many resources on campus, so utilize your academic advisors and establish connections with faculty, staff and peers.”
