Austin Mack has signed with the Edmonton Elks following his release from the Montreal Alouettes, per jdunk_12.
Mack reunites with franchise quarterback Cody Fajardo in the Alberta capital. He has signed a two-year contract through the 2027 CFL season.
The 28-year-old pass catcher was scheduled to receive a $45,000 offseason roster bonus from the Als on Sunday, February 1 as part of a contract worth $211,000 in hard money for 2026. He was released on Monday as Montreal chose to go in another direction.
The six-foot-two, 215-pound target ranked third on the Alouettes last season with 48 receptions for 674 yards and two touchdowns. The Ohio State University product was the ninth-highest-paid player at his position in 2025, but was limited to 12 regular-season games due to injury. He remained hindered by a nagging hamstring problem during the playoffs.
