Today, on Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the memory of the six million Jews who were murdered, the countless others persecuted, and the survivors whose resilience continues to inspire.
We also remember the courageous individuals who risked everything to save lives, including Irena Sendler, a Polish social worker who helped rescue hundreds of Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII. Her legacy reflects the deepest values of social work: compassion, courage, and unwavering commitment to human dignity.
May we continue to learn, remember, and work toward a world free from hatred and injustice.
