Madeira, Portugal Recs ⬇️ Snuck a few photos from Lisbon and Porto in, but the real star of the show was the incredible island of Madeira. Here’s a few food, beverage and activity recs! - A Bica for traditional Portuguese food - Pão e Companhia for the best Pastel de Nata of your life (last slide) - Akua for a worthwhile splurge on a Michelin Guide spot - Madeira Beer Lab (they have @Põhjala Brewery on tap!) - Use a shuttle to take you to the PR1 Hike (stairway to heaven) and then hike PR3 to Forest Food & Cafe where the shuttle will pick you up. Fire sandwiches and amazing coffee. - I stayed at Funchal 109 hostel, great location for a good price. - rent a car or take a day trip to drive to the western side of Madeira. The natural pools are beautiful (if there isn’t monster waves closing them like I had, still beautiful) #madeira #portugal
