The next generation of gender justice advocates is here — meet our 2026 Waging Justice for Women Fellows!
The third annual cohort has already hit the ground running, working at some of Africa’s leading human rights NGOs to protect the rights of women and girls across Africa. In partnership with fundhumanrights’ Legal Empowerment Fund, the Fellowship offers these early-career women lawyers a fully funded work placement, networking opportunities and a chance to make an impact in some of the decade’s defining women’s rights cases.
"Over the past two years, our Fellows have touched thousands of lives across Africa in the fight to advance justice for women and girls," said Amal Clooney, Co-Founder of CFJ. "We're so excited to welcome this year's cohort and see the incredible work they will do to wage justice in courtrooms and communities across the region."
