No one is more excited for Bad Bunny’s upcoming Super Bowl LX halftime show than Duolingo. The language-learning app has launched a “Bad Bunny 101” crash course to help his English-language fans understand his lyrics and music. Throughout the campaign promo, the app’s owl mascot Duo wears Bad Bunny-inspired attire and makes references like “tití me preguntó,” “perreo,” and “hola, nueva yol!” Additionally, the company has transformed NYC’s S train into the S-panish train, which is decorated with green wraps and phrases referencing Benito’s lyrics and offers non-stop Spanish lessons on the train.
“Spanish is the second most spoken language in the U.S., and it’s already part of how culture shows up,” Duolingo Chief Marketing Officer Manu Orssaud said in a statement. “This halftime show lets fans experience that at full volume — and a little Spanish goes a long way toward enjoying the moment even more.”
