Crow to tripod isn’t the hard part. The real work is getting back up. Tripod headstand to crow. And here’s the wild thing: it’s the exact same action you use when you step a foot all the way forward between your hands without lifting them. Same mechanics. Same intelligence.
Pushing strongly through the hands. Protracting. Pulling the core in and up. Creating space in the front body so the legs don’t drop, they float 🚀 That’s the key.
Once you see that, this transition stops feeling mysterious and starts feeling logical. Challenging, yes. But trainable. And honestly kind of addictive once it clicks.
I don’t hang out in headstands for long — my body doesn’t love that — but using tripod as a bridge? For strength, control, confidence, and a little wow factor? Absolutely.
