I took a weekend trip to Walla Walla with thisisboise & hellomeridian and it was the perfect reset. It’s an easy four-hour drive from Boise, but once you’re there the pace shifts immediately. I stayed at finchwallawalla, a boutique hotel owned by the same group behind The Sparrow in downtown Boise, which made everything walkable and easy! We visited dustedvalleywine, balboawinery, dunhamcellars, echolandswine, everenwines, realifamilyvineyard, and smak_wines but even with those stops, it barely scratched the surface of what Walla Walla has to offer. There are so many wineries across the valley doing incredible work, and one weekend simply isn’t enough. The food was just as memorable. fiascopizzaww served one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, and colvillestreet is a must! Grab pastries for the wineries, then grab more to go!
