Benet Academy students traveled to Washington D.C. this past week to witness to the value and dignity of every life at the National March for Life on Capitol Hill and the National Vigil for Life at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, and to join Catholic high school students from across the country at the "Life is Very Good" rally on the campus of George Mason University. Along the way, students explored the monuments of the National Mall, enjoyed some well-earned fun, and met with Benet Alumnus, Will O'Grady, Director of Communications for Senator Jim Justice at his office in the Hart Senate Building. Because of the approaching snowstorm the group had to depart D.C. early, but were able to make a meaningful stop at the University of Notre Dame for Mass and a visit with Benet Alumni currently studying at ND before heading home.
