Today, we recognize and congratulate more of our Hall of Honor Class of 2026 honorees in the Professional Distinction Category. Dr. Thomas J. LeCompte '82, was an internationally recognized, high-energy physicist. He was part of the international group that proved the existence of the Top Quark. He also served a term as the Physics Coordinator for the ATLAS experiment at CERN, which is the largest particle accelerator in the world. Tom always loved Benet and wanted to give back after graduation. He stayed connected as a volunteer coach for the math and robotics teams. Lester Schiefelbein '64, is an internationally recognized arbitrator and mediator with 40+ years experience in U.S. and international business, technology, aerospace, and national security disputes.
