Anyone else wanna go to Guatemala? 🇬🇹 I think yes! This country has so much to offer. From walking the colorful streets of the historical village of Antigua, to hiking up Acatenango and watching an active volcano erupt right in front of your eyes, to cliff jumping and catching some sun at Lake Atitlán, and finally winding down while exploring Guatemala City. This place truly has it all! Quick heads tho before you book those tickets: Acatenango isn’t your average hike. It’s about 8.5 miles of pure incline on loose gravel (they say for every 3 steps you take, you slide 1 back) and the elevation gain is roughly 5,269 feet… That’s why it was so important to have a comfortable place to recover after, which is why I chose the @bestwestern Plus Stofella in Guatemala City.
